On 12th of April 2011, the 50th anniversary of the world's first manned flight into space carried out by Russian cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin. Also celebrating the 30th anniversary of the first space shuttle launch.What a long way we have come from Spaceflight. NASA is retiring the shuttle program later this year. Awaiting the next generation of Spaceflight.
